Born, Manchester, England in 1938. Attended The Manchester Regional College of Art 1959/ 60.and The Slade School of Fine Art, London, 1960/ 62. Moved to Paris in 1962, returning to London 1964 and to Gloucestershire, England in 1966.

Teaching
Regular part-time Lecturer in Sculpture at The Bath Academy of Art, Corsham and Newport College of Art, from 1965 to 1971. Full-time Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at, The Polytechnic, Wolverhampton, to 1989. Taught at The University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA in 1970, L’Ecole des Beaux Arts, Le Mans, France in 1979 and at The Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Gujarat, India, in 1985.
Gave up teaching in 1990 and has since worked privately and professionally
making occasional visits to New Mexico.
