Boris Johnson  1964

Born 19th of June 1964. Is an English politician and journalist, the current (2009),
Mayor of London, and previously served as conservative Member of Parliament for Henley-on-Thames
and as editor of The Spectator magazine.

On a recent BBC television programme called ‘Who do you think you are?’
he learnt that his ancestry could be traced back to Duke Paul von Württemberg and for
the purposes of the programme was shown visiting Mergentheim Palace at Bad Mergentheim.

Boris is eminently quotable, as ‘There are no such things as disasters, only opportunities,
indeed in my case, usually opportunities for further disasters’.

The comedian Frankie Boyle has said of him, ‘He is the sort of man, who 200 years ago,
would have died at the age of 30, leading a cavalry charge into a volcano!’
