Born in 1941, the drummer of The Rolling Stones known as the quiet man of the notoriously decadent band. Charlie Watts has pursued many musical interests without The Rolling Stones. A fanatical lover of jazz, he formed the Charlie Watts Quintet in 1991 and has released a string of recordings under this grouping. Last visited Stuttgart with The Rolling Stones in August 2006, when they played at the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium.
